Welcome to The Challenge! The Challenge Game

The Challenge is a strategy game for two players. Game are often initiated by declaring: "I Challenge You!" Play time is 60-90 minutes, but expect it to take longer your first time or two.

Everything you need to play is included, except for $400 in play money, and 3 dice: a 4-sided die (D4), a 6-sided die (D6) and a 10-sided die (D10).

Your download of The Challenge contain the following WordPerfect® files:

The Game Board: Print on heavy card stock

Abilities Sheet: (1 page) Print on white paper; you will need a new sheet for each game. You can bypass the need to print new sheets by printing on card stock and then laminating.

Auction Block: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock

Auction Tiles: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock, then cut out tiles.

Auction Tiles List: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock.

Combat Pads: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock.

Grid Tiles: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock.

Prep + Combat Sheet: (1 page) Print on white paper; you will need 2 new sheets for each game.

Rules: (2 pages, both sides) Print on white paper in booklet format.

Rules Cover: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock Note: the odd placement of the illustration is not a mistake. It is necessary to avoid problems with printing a border at the bottom of the page.

Sample Sheets: (3 pages) Print on white paper.

The Grid: (1 page) Print on heavy card stock; cut out the red and blue markers.

(Note: Depending on your system and printer, you may need to make some minor adjustments before printing.)

The rules are relatively short, but they contains a lot of information. The best way to learn how to play is: skim through the rules, look over the sample sheets, and then read the rules more carefully.
